The Manor Suite

From all of us at Cockington Court, we are proud to be able to offer, The Manor Suite.

We understand that 2020 has been a difficult year for all weddings, and as a gesture from us, we have decided to run a six month special offer. The offer runs from 1 October 2020 until 31 March 2021.

Bookings for our room, The Hayloft.

You will have use of ‘The Manor Suite’ as a substitute for the downstairs space of The Hayloft. This is included in The Hayloft price. We have made the offer free of charge due to the downstairs of The Hayloft not currently being able to hold a buffet or sit down meal, due to government restrictions.

Your ceremony will be held upstairs in The Hayloft. After which the wedding party will come into the main house to our Manor Suite (pictured above) for a private reception cream tea.

The cream teas are offered at a discount from our onsite café ‘The Seven Dials’, at £60 for up to 12 guests.

Booking for, The Cary room.

This new VIP offer for the Cary room, is a set price of £660.

£600 to Cockington Court, for hire of The Cary Room for 1 hour and The Manor Suite until 4pm.

£60 to ‘The Seven Dials’ onsite café for a set offer of up to 12 cream teas.

We can only take one Manor suite booking a day, as it is exclusive all day hire.

Additional Information - The Manor Suite

Location - The suite is located on the top floor, at the front of the manor house. The room has recently been refurbished and has stunning views across the front lawn.

To get to the room access is via the rose garden, along the top floor corridor, and turn right, the room is directly in front of you. The main staircase inside the manor house is closed, so the room can only be accessed via the rose garden.

The route to the room is wheelchair accessible.

Availability - We can only take one Manor Suite booking a day, as it is exclusive all day hire. The room can be accessed from 11am-4pm.

Catering - To meet regulations, we are only able to offer the catering option from our onsite café. Outside catering from another company or bringing food in from home is not prohibited.

The Seven Dials are offering cream teas for a set price of £60 for up to 12 people. The food will be brought to you in individual servings to follow the Covid guidelines.

Alcoholic and non- alcoholic drinks can only be supplied by the on-site café.

Alcoholic drinks may only be consumed in the room this is due to licensing and other restrictions, we cannot permit pre/post-ceremony drinks anywhere in the grounds of the Court.

Furniture - The tables and chairs are supplied within the price of this offer.

Decoration - Cockington Court is a Grade II* Listed historic building of which we are duly proud. Owing to its historical nature we do not permit any alterations to the building including sticking, nailing, pinning or any other potentially damaging method for fixing anything to walls and woodwork.

There is decoration around the room. Although if you wish to bring table covers, runners, centre pieces or chair sashes with you on the day, this is permitted, as these will not damage the room.

Any additional decorations must be taken away at the end of the day.

Fire Evacuation - In the event of fire alarms sounding, the wedding party will be asked to leave via the rose garden and congregate on the front lawn in front of Cockington Court Manor House.
