Categories: Latest News

On Sunday 10th March you can explore the award-winning Cockington Court to visualise your wedding day and see why it is one of the most popular wedding venues across the Bay.

All couples are welcome and are invited to see the various wedding venues on offer, meet a range of suppliers and on-site craft makers to provide the finishing touches at their wedding.

Marissa Wakefield, Cockington Court Craft Centre Director, said: “We adore holding weddings at Cockington Court and provide a highly personalised service. Our wedding co-ordinator ensures that your special occasion runs smoothly.”

The venues at Cockington Court can be used to deliver unique and personal weddings. The Grade II listed Manor House is set in 460 acres of stunning parklands, gardens and water-meadows. The beautiful grounds surrounding the Court provide a unique spot for photographs.

The Hayloft is a unique, two-storey building, which has the option of ceremonies taking place on the first floor and food and drinks served on the ground floor. The Hayloft is perfect for intimate weddings of up to 25 guests in a beautiful rustic setting.

The Cary Room is a larger ceremony room, situated on the first floor of the Manor House, can accommodate up to 55 guests for wedding ceremonies and special celebrations. The Cary Room allows wonderful views across parkland for those saying “I do.”

The team at Cockington Court work closely with partners to provide other services, such as venue decorating and flowers, to make the day even more special.

Marissa continued: “To make the day even more memorable, Cockington craft makers can create personalised wedding gifts, favours, cards, cakes and jewellery. Our rooms can be dressed and personalised to create the perfect setting for your special day.”

Cockington Court craft makers who you can meet on the day include award-winning wedding accessories by Claire Austin and South West Wedding Awards finalists Flower La Vita and K&H Carriages.

There is also The Space, which is available to hire exclusively to continue celebrating the day in a relaxed room, which you can decorate to your taste.
