Donations Wanted for Sculpture Trail Installation

Want to contribute to an amazing installation as part of this year's Sculpture Trail?

Artist Donald Knaack is seeking donations of household items to create his sound installation and sculptures, as part of our 2018 Sculpture Trail.

We're inviting donations of the following equipment:

  • Silverware
  • Pots of any size
  • Pans of any size
  • Skillets of any size
  • Lids of any size
  • Containers of any size or material
  • Wood - spoons or other kitchen tools
  • Metal - forks, spoons or other related kitchen tools
  • Misc cooking gadgets, devices, appliances (electric or hand)
  • Metal or wood hanging racks for pots and skillets
  • Very important: we need a number of chairs, tables, and stools

Plus, for the base of the sculpture: 

  • Wooden posts - 2 to 4 posts, each post can be 6 to 8 feet or 1.83m to
  • 2.43m long. The body can be circular, square or rectangular, just as long as the diameter is 6 to 8 inches or 15.24cm to 20.32cm wide
  • Pieces of hardwood flooring, or any soft wood - any size or length
  • Wood dowels, even bamboo (as many as possible) - 1/4 to 1/2 inch or .00635m to .0127m in diameter
  • Used exterior paints - all colors welcome
