Cockington Court has Christmas all wrapped up.

Cockington Court are putting the final touches to ‘Christmas at Cockington Court’.  A two day Christmas Fayre on Saturday 6th and 7th December will launch what will be a packed festive calendar.  Come and browse a range of stalls including handmade quality crafts and delicious hot and cold food stalls.  There will be plenty of festive treats to try including mulled cider, wine and mince pies and entertainment including children’s craft activities, choirs and a Christmas Quiz.  At 3.45pm there will be the traditional lantern parade leading to Cockington Church where a festive church service starts at 4pm.

Cockington Court will also play host to the LAMBCO Synthetic Skating Rink, which for the first time will be sited in front of the manor house, alongside the Christmas Fayre.   The rink will be in situ through to 4th January, closed only on Christmas Day.  Tickets are £6 per session which includes the hire of skates; with concessions also in place.  You can even skate with Father Christmas on weekday mornings. 

Talking of Father Christmas, he will be flying in each weekend from 6th December until 21st December and can be found in his winter wonderland grotto.  The grotto will stay open during the week so families can visit and post a letter.

All of this is in addition to a range of artisan craft studios where you can discover lots of unique hand crafted gifts made on site whilst you shop in wonderful festive surroundings.

Choose from a selection of glassware, fashion and accessories, prints and paintings, wooden toys, textiles, ceramics, jewellery, sculpture, metalwork, home interiors, leatherwork, wrapping paper, handmade cards and chocolate.  Many items can be made to order.  Wrap up your trip with a tasty snack in our delightful Tea rooms.
